A bottle of fine Bordeaux, breathing

A bouquet of freshly cut flowers

A packet of moist aromatic tobacco;

Coltrane is in the background

Praying to the universe

Robust his voice;

Love is in the bathtub, sprawled

Indulging in her nightly ritual

Her lovely bath oil perfuming the air;

Grilled lamb and assorted grilled vegetables

Warm in the oven;

Coltrane now serenading the night

Tender his voice;

Love now walking into the dinning room

Radiant in her lovely ankle length dress.
